8th
Kyu

Black Belt Syllabus 2nd Dan - Nidan (2023)

Applicants must have held 1st dan for at least 2 years.

Minimum age of 18 years to be able to apply for Junior Nidan.

Minimum age of 21 years to be able to apply for Senior Nidan.

The Dan Gradings will include a written examination (Theory Paper) The result of the Theory Paper will be confidential and no dialouge will be allowed with EWKR Officials or any discussion of any kind permitted.

No Students may apply for EWKR Dan Grading unless they have a
recommendation from their Official Club Sensei

All Candidates are to ensure that they have a track record of Maximum contribution and involvement within and to all events of England Wado-Kai Karate-Do Renmei. Successful Candidates will in addition to receiving the appropriate EWKR Certificate/Diploma will also be issued with an appropriate Dan Grade Certificate/Diploma from the Federation of Wado-Kai Europe.

5. Nagashizuki
6. Surikomi Mawashigeri Jodan
7. Surikomi Sokuto Jodan
8. Ushirogeri Chudan

 
Renkei Waza (Combination Techniques)

1. Surikomi Maegeri Chudan - Sokuto Chudan - Ushirogeri Chudan - Uraken Jodan
2. Zenshite Jodan, Chudan Zuki - Maegeri Chudan - Nagashizuki Jodan - Gyakuzuki Chudan - Mawashigeri Chudan

 
Ippon Kumite (One Step Block)

1. jodan Uke Nihonme & Yonhonme
